ABSTRACT
Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms are significant in PV systems because they reduce the number of PV panels
necessary to reach the target output power, which lowers the PV array cost. This paper presents a simulation comparison of two
popular MPPT algorithms: perturb and observe and incremental conductance. Because of their low cost and ease of
implementation, these algorithms are widely utilised. Both algorithms have traced some critical factors such as voltage, current,
and power output for each different combination. A 1000 W photovoltaic (PV) arrays performance was evaluated using the Matlab
simulink tool box.
